In 2005, the pass rate of our graduates ranked among the TOP 15 in the US ARCHITECTURAL REGISTRATION EXAM (84% on average in the 9 section exam, 72% being the national norm).
In one particular division of the exam, Building Planning (division # 8, the exam “architectural core”), our graduates' pass rate (81%) was higher than the pass rates of almost ALL the other 107 US accredited programs, including the most prestigious ones. Apart from the graduates of two schools which had a limited number of candidates taking that exam section, KSU graduates’ pass rate ranked

# 1 in the US

The plurality of the educational options reflects the diversity of the background and interests of the graduate faculty. Both coursework and instruction inspire theoretical inquiry and debate while promoting academic activities embedded in "real world" experiences. All programs foster the discovery, integration and application of new design methods, and provide students with the skills necessary to pursue research and practice responsibly in their own field of expertise.
