We are currently seeking a Project Manager, a registered architect with experience in commercial architectural projects. The ideal candidate is both technically proficient, design sensitive and has excellent organizational and communication skills. The Project Manager will manage all aspects of projects of varying size and scope. Under the direction of the Principal, the PM assumes responsibility of project overview, monitoring and control to ensure achievement of project and office goals.

    Responsibilities:
  • Manages all aspects of a project of any given size or scope.
  • Establishes project goals and objectives based on client input, budget and schedule.
  • Serves as a liaison between the client and staff by keeping the client current on all project activities and educating them in the design and production process.
  • Cultivates client relationships by developing rapport and promptly addressing issues that arise.
  • Maintains responsibility for project profitability by ensuring adherence to schedule and budget.
  • Prepares and updates project schedules.
  • Assists in marketing efforts by providing input into proposals or assisting in presentations.
  • Establishes task schedule and staff requirements consistent with project agreements.
  • Reviews and interprets construction documents.
    Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Minimum of Bachelor of Architecture
  • Architectural registration, preferred
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in an architectural firm in design, production and project management
  • 5-7 years recent experience in commercial projects
  • Thorough knowledge of architectural drafting, detailing, building materials, building and zoning codes
  • Proficiency in MS Office & AutoCAD

We are currently seeking a third or fourth year Intern Architect who is currently on the path to professional licensure. The candidate will work under the general supervision of other staff members on a variety of projects to perform routine architectural project assignments using prescribed methods and techniques. Assignments may include higher-level work for training and development purposes. The Intern Architect must be proficient with Microsoft Office and will have some previous exposure to AutoCAD.

This intern-architect must have good communication skills, presentation skills, and be able to work well with other team members. Due to the small size of the office, candidates must be willing and excited about the opportunity to "wear many hats." This is a great opportunity for the right person to grow and gain valuable experience.
